Located in
Cleveland's Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood, this is a comprehensive
rehabilitation project of two historic theaters in adjoining
buildings, and is currently estimated at $7.0 million.
Cleveland Public Theatre is an alternative performance company
committed to develop original theatre artists from Greater
Cleveland particularly those whose work is experimental in form
and/or challenging in content. The Project Group is serving as
Owner's Representative on this project. Years of
engagement: 2006 to date.

Located in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood,
this is a $1.25 million rehabilitation project of the historic and
landmark Vitrolite national headquarters building for the
Intermuseum Conservation Association. ICA was founded in 1952
by the directors of six major Midwest museums to provide
professional, high-quality and cost-effective art-conservation
services – and was the first regional art conservation laboratory in
the country. The Project Group is serving as Owner's
Representative on this project. Years of engagement:
2006 to date.
Located in
Cleveland’s Mt. Pleasant Neighborhood, KidsHealth 2020 is a $3.5
million, 20,000 SF children’s community health facility that is
being built by the St. Luke’s Foundation. The Project Group is
serving as Owner’s Representative on this project, now in the
programming phase. Years of engagement: 2002 to
date.
The
Project Group was the Owner’s Representative for Ursuline College on
the construction of a $5.0 million, 27,000 SF student dormitory
project. Years of engagement: 2004 to 2006.
The Project Group served as Project Manager for
Ursuline College on the $7.0 million, 30,000 SF Pilla Student
Learning Center. This facility has now become the iconic
building on campus, as well as its focal point of activities.
Years of engagement: 1999 thru 2001.
The Project Group was
retained by Hiram College to serve as Project Manager on the
construction of its Coleman Sports, Recreation and Fitness Center
Student Athletic Center in Hiram, Ohio. This is a $12.5
million, 130,000 SF facility. Years of engagement:
2003 to 2006.
The City of
Willoughby, Ohio, developed an $8.0 million, 27,000-
SF courthouse facility, which is located in an historic
district. The Project Group served as Project Manager, and
guided the owner through the programming process and the selection
of a design-builder. As construction commenced, TPG continued
in this engagement, ensuring that the project was constructed by the
design-builder according to the owner’s specifications. Years
of engagement: 2003 to 2006.
The Cleveland
Foodbank has developed a new $9.0 million warehouse and
administrative offices totaling 125,000 SF in the Collinwood
neighborhood. The Project Group served as Project Manager on
this design-build project, guiding the owner through the selection
of the design-builder, and represented the owner’s interests during
the construction and post-construction phases. Years of
engagement: 2002 thru 2004.
The
Ashtabula County Commissioners engaged The Project Group to serve as
Owner’s Representative on the construction of the $15.0 million,
125,000 SF, 100-room Geneva Inn and Conference Center, which is
located in Geneva on the Lake, Ohio. This state-of-the-art
facility is a showpiece for both the County and this historic resort
area. Years of engagement: 2002 thru
2004.
The Project Group
served as Project Manager and Owner’s Representative on the $28.0
million Summa Health Systems Centers of Excellence Project, a
160,000 SF medical facility, located in Akron, Ohio. On this
engagement, TPG managed the selection and engagement of the
programming, design and construction firms involved in the Project
on behalf of the owner. Once construction began, TPG
represented the owner to insure that schedule, budget, quality and
safety standards were met. This project is currently in the
closeout stage. Years of engagement: 2000 to
2004.
The Project Group
provided Project Management services on the construction of Summa’s
$3.5 million electrical substation, located on its main campus, in
Akron, Ohio. This project completed in 2003, and is fully
operational. The engagement included managing all aspects of
construction, including interaction with regulatory authorities,
power providers and the surrounding community. Years of
engagement: 2002 to 2003.
During the planning of
its current capital program, Summa engaged The Project Group to
serve as Project Manager to develop its Master Plan for
expansion. This engagement included planning activities for
its main campus, along with its other facilities located throughout
the Greater Akron area. Years of engagement: 2001 thru
2003.
The Project Group
served as Owner’s Representative on the construction of the $5.0
million, 20,000 SF American Cancer Society Cleveland
headquarters. This Euclid Ave. facility now stands as a
gateway to the University Circle neighborhood. Years of
engagement: 1999 thru 2001.

The Project Group was
retained by Cleveland City Council to serve as Project Monitor to
aid in its legislative oversight over the $750 million Division of
Water Plant Enhancement Program (PEP). There are over 45
subprojects associated with this program, including three major
plants in Cleveland, and one in Westlake. Years of
engagement: 2001 to date.
The Project Group is also monitoring the
Cleveland Division of Water’s $366 million Capital Improvements
Program, on behalf of Cleveland City Council. This encompasses
114 subprojects – including such activities as water-main cleaning
and lining, water-main replacements, tower and pump-station
rehabilitation, and the repair, maintenance and replacement of
associated mechanical components. Such facilities are located
throughout Cleveland and several surrounding communities – including
Beachwood, Bedford, Bedford Heights, Brecksville, Brunswick,
Independence, Lyndhurst, Macedonia, Middleburgh Heights, Newburgh
Heights, North Randall, North Royalton, Parma, Parma Heights,
Strongsville, Twinsburg and Warrensville Heights. Years of
engagement: 2001 to date.
Since 2001, TPG has monitored the $36 million
Capital Improvements Program being conducted by the Cleveland
Division of Water Pollution Control, on behalf of Cleveland City
Council. TPG’s scope of services on this engagement includes
monitoring for adherence to project schedule, budget, EEO
requirements, along with work placement issues on the 53 subprojects
included in this program. Years of engagement: 2001 to
date.
The Project Group has
provided consulting services to Cleveland City Council on matters
related to Cleveland Public Power’s (CPP) 5-Year Strategic
Plan. CPP has just completed a two-year initiative that has
resulted in this new Plan – and TPG
is assisting City Council in its review of this effort, as well as
the associated policy departures and legislative initiatives.
Additionally, City Council is spearheading the City's new
Sustainability policy, and TPG is actively involved in this
initiative. Years of engagement: 2006 to
date.
Since 1997, The Project Group has served as
Project Monitor on this $1.4 billion project . TPG monitored
adherence to Project schedule, budget and EEO goals, along with work
placement issues, as an extension to the staff of the Cleveland City
Council. This project, consisting of 124 subprojects, has
successfully completed its second phase with the opening of a
9,000-foot runway. Years of engagement: 1997 to
2006.
The Project Group
served as Project Monitor on this $360 million, 72,000-seat project,
which was completed in 1999. Representing the third-party
interests of the Cleveland City Council, TPG monitored construction
for adherence to project schedule, budget and EEO goals. Years
of engagement: 1996 thru 2000.
