Cleveland Public Theatre

Project Overview

The Project Group has been the Project Manager for Cleveland Public Theatre's comprehensive rehabilitation project of 2 historic theaters in adjoining buildings, and is currently estimated at $7.8 million.  The project has included 3 main Design/Build projects to date — a $2.7 million stabilization of the building envelope (2007-2009); a $1.5 million installation oh a state-of-the-art HVAC system (2007-2009); and, the $2.4 million installation of an ADA-compliant elevator, new office buildout, and 2 new storefronts (2013-2016).  Located in Cleveland's Detroit Shoreway neighborhood, CPT is an alternative performance company committed to develop original theater artists from Greater Cleveland — particularly those whose work is experimental in form and/or challenging in content (2006 to date).
